Chelsea travel to Dean Court to face Bournemouth in the next round of premier league fixtures. The Blues head into the encounter hoping to get maximum point and close the gap at the top of the table on Manchester City.
The season is just two months old and the table is already shaping up for likely contenders and Chelsea as defending champions, the club has to show why they are the defending champions. The game against Bournemouth will be one that Chelsea has no choice but to go full attack and get the maximum three points.
Tiboiut Courtois will definitely be in goal and he is expected to keep a clean sheet against Eddie Howe side. Chelsea defeated them in both legs last season and will hope to repeat that feat again that season.
A three man centre defenders had been Conte’s preferred option and it seems he will be going with that heading into this game. Cesar Azpilicueta, the captain of the side is expected to lead that line and he will be partnered
by David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger. The three will have the duty of protecting the goalkeeper and keeping the Bournemouth attack at bay.
The wing back positions seem sorted out with Conte first choice option, Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso keeping their place in the team. Timoue Bakayoko is expected to provide the pivot at the midfield alongside Cesc Fabregas. Conte has preferred Pedro lately and he is expected to complete the five man midfield style in the 3-5-2 formation.
Eden Hazard is obviously going to start as he continue to search for his first premier league goal of the season. This a match Conte will likely come up with a surprise up front by giving the nod to Michy Batshuayi ahead of Alvaro Morata. It is a tactical decision that will give Chelsea another dimension up front.
